SLIGHT INCLINE

The lightweight motor gently tilts in 5 positions. Both manual and electronic trim versions lift easily to get maximum performance and fuel economy. It also prevents you from damaging the propeller blades when you are near rocks or at the water's edge.

EASY STARTING

Both engines have a decompression system for easy engine starting. This makes the engine easier to pull-start if you have a manual start type, and less battery drain if you have an electric type.

EASY THROTTLE

Both engines have a forward shift and gearshift lever. It's easier to steer and easier to navigate than other outboards, whether you're left-handed or right-handed.

REVERSE THRUST

A unique exhaust gas removal system directs exhaust bubbles away from the propeller, so it can "grab" water instead of air. The result is instant reverse response with much finer control.

ENGINE PROTECTION AND SAFETY

Honda's outboard monitoring system monitors engine temperature and oil pressure to prevent damage (this is only available on remote control models).
